The Solar Energy ETF (KWT) better than other ETFs this week, an increase of about 4.5%. Parts of the Foundation in particular the strength of this week include shares of GT Solar International (SOLR), an increase of approximately 10.8% and the shares of LDK Solar Limited (LDK), an increase of about 8.9% the week.
And other poorly performing ETFs this week, the Coal ETF (KOL), a decrease of about 7.4% this week. Between components of this ETF with the weakest showing for the week, shares of James River Coal (JRCC), lower by about 16.2%, and shares of Alpha Natural Resources (ANR), lower by about 13.2% on the week .
ETF Other standouts this week include the 2001 European Holdren (EKH), better than this week with a 3.5% gain. And the Global Coal Portfolio (PKOL) was an under performer, representing approximately 6.9% this week.
