U.S. Gold Price Futures End Above $ 1090 per ounce


U.S. gold futures end above $ 1090 per ounce on Thursday as investors, to the metal as a hedge against currency risks, market volatility after the news that European governments have to support in principle for the heavily indebted Greece.

GOLD
- COMEX April GCJ0 moved up $ 18.40, or 1.7 percent to $ 1,094.70 per oz
- Range up to $ 1,072.90 $ 1,098.40.
- April rose to currency fluctuations than the euro is moving in wide range according to the details is planned for Greece from EU aid.
- Gold supported as Euro falls against dollar after ranges from $ 1.38 to $ 1.35
- Do not expect information about the package to be completed until the EU finance ministers meeting next week.

- London afternoon gold fix = XAUFIX at $ 1,076.25.

SILVER

- March SIH0 ending up 29 cents, or 1.9 per cent gain to $ 15.590 an ounce, tracking gold.
- Range up to $ 15.175 $ 15.730.
- COMEX estimated final volume at 46,602 lots.
- XAG = Spot silver at $ 15.68 per ounce, compared with $ 15.18 late in the previous session in New York.
- London Silver XAGFIX = afternoon fix at $ 15.37 per oz

PLATINUM
- April PLJ0 surfaces up $ 6.40 to $ 1519.30 per ounce on the strength of the base metals, with a 5-percent rally resulted in copper.

- Platinum ETFs (PPLT.P) holdings unchanged at 264,774 ounces for the previous day of 10 February; ETFS palladium also stock flat on 429,813 ounces.

- Spot platinum XPT = at $ 1524 per oz

PALLADIUM

- March palladium PAH0 closed up $ 5.60, or 1.4 percent to $ 418.95 an ounce, tracking stronger industrial metals.
- Spot palladium at $ per XPD = 419.50 ounces
